Hi, How Can We Help You?

Childcare

Childcare

Childcare is important to Ohio’s working families. You must decide which type of childcare best meets your family’s needs. It is best to visit several childcare settings and meet with several providers before you decide. Good childcare is more than custodial care that meets minimum requirements.

Look for Childcare that provides opportunities for your child to play, explore, and grow in a creative, happy, and healthful way.
The childcare you select for your child will be his/her environment for part or most of the day. The decision is an important one and deserves your thoughtful consideration.

It is your right and responsibility as a parent to visit and ask many questions about the childcare so you can make an informed decision.

Finding Quality Childcare

This system will help you locate the type of child day care program you prefer for your child. You will be able to learn more about each childcare center, its licensing status, any additional accreditation or affiliation, its location, the number and ages of children served, and information about licensing inspections.
